The fit we hope to find

Our solution is used by thousands of retailers worldwide and growing at a fast pace. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on senior sales director, who leads the consultative selling of our technical solutions with prospects and existing key accounts (SaaS, hardware, integrations and customizations), responsible for the Northern Europe region (including DACH and parts of west/central Europe).

What you'll do
In this senior B2B sales role, you will have the end-to-end responsibility for acquiring, managing and growing our accounts, which include some of the largest retailers and shoe brands in the world. You will work both from the HQ in Almere (Amsterdam region, NL) and spend your time in the field. Your accountabilities consist of:

  • Selling our solutions to new prospects – actively finding new leads and converting them into new future key account
  • Acquiring, managing and growing our strategic accounts
  • Growing our solution base with existing key accounts of SafeSize
  • Developing and executing the optimal strategy to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Leading cross functional account teams consisting of developers, delivery & success, CX and marketing to ensure continuous growth and customer success
  • Advising leadership members of our customers/prospects on customer journeys and sell our solution
  • Work with customers and colleagues on successful onboarding of new customers (pilots) and monitor ongoing client satisfaction after implementation
  • Collaborate closely with your SafeSize colleagues at Customer Success, Operations, Development and Product and the SafeSize Management Team, who work from our offices in the Netherlands, Greece, China, Slovenia and Australia

Job requirements

What you bring

  • 10+ years of proven senior sales experience in technology / complex solutions
  • Experience with B2B SaaS deals, having negotiated, signed and managed deals of +1M ARR
  • A strong network of decision makers in footwear / sport omni-channel and/or online retailers
  • A deep understanding of omni-channel and online retailing 
  • Experience in both business development and account management
  • The capability to discuss matters with senior and C-level decision makers at a strategic level
  • A can-do mentality, with a strong service mindset
  • Excellent skills to build and maintain professional relations
  • The talent to effectively mentor and guide a sales team
