The fit we hope to find
We are looking for a dynamic Mandarin & English Speaking Account Executive to join our team in Shanghai, primarily serving our customers in Greater China as well as in SE Asia region. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in fashion/footwear retail, customer service, or project/account management, who are fluent in Mandarin and English (ideally also speak Cantonese, Korean or another SE Asian language), are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and innovative retail solutions and enjoy travelling.
What you'll do
- Manage the integration of our hardware and software solutions across retail stores, primarily in the Greater China and SE Asia region.
- Act as key contact and liaison between SafeSize and customer accounts, ensuring smooth project execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with sales, operations, product, finance and marketing teams.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders (internal and external) to maintain alignment and address any issues promptly.
- Monitor and analyze customer KPIs, develop and execute targeted plans to enhance performance and commercial results.
- Conduct store visits and on-site training for retail staff to maximize the effectiveness and use of our technology.
- Represent SafeSize at customer events and trade fairs, promoting our brand and solutions.
Job requirements
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or any other relevant field.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English – business proficiency/ability to effectively communicate and conduct business in both Mandarin and English.
- Speaking Cantonese, Korean or another SE Asian language would be a big plus.
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with exposure to retail, customer service, account/project management. Experience in technology or software sector would be a plus.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to drive projects to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Customer-oriented acumen with strong commercial awareness.
- Experience in implementing project plans and processes in an international setting.
- Availability to travel in China and SE Asia at almost 60-70% of your time.
