Job description

What we do

No matter if you’re the biggest sports fanatic, have a ‘minor’ shoe addiction or you own just one pair of sneakers, you know that finding the “perfect” shoe can be challenging. We’re here to help people find that perfect fitting shoe every single time. We have created a way to make a 3D scan of your feet and match that profile with our own (and the world’s largest) database of 3D-scanned shoes. Our goal is to inspire people to do what they love in maximum comfort, whether it’s running a marathon, dancing all night or simply going for a stroll in the park.  As an employer, we strive to translate this philosophy into a happy and balanced lifestyle for all our team members, giving them the opportunity to grow and thrive while doing what they love.

The fit we hope to find

We‘re looking for a key member of our core Finance team who will act as our main accountant, driving the daily financial operations and contribute to the smooth and accurate running of our accounting function. This is a hands-on role: you'll perform the accounting journal entries, own the close process, strengthen reporting and ensure compliance across jurisdictions. You will collaborate closely with the broader Finance team and external partners in the countries we operate in.

What you'll do

  • Support daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.

  • Handle accounts payable process, including employee expenses and bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare and file tax and VAT declarations in coordination with external consultants.

  • Drive the month-end close process, driving consistency, accuracy, and timeliness across all entities.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and internal controls.

  • Assist in audits and liaise with external accounting providers as needed.

  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of financial processes and systems.

  • Support ad-hoc financial and administrative tasks as required.

Job requirements

What you bring

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

  • CPA, ACCA, or Master's in Accounting/Finance is a plus

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Experience in group reporting, intercompany eliminations and multi-entity accounting is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Greek tax regulations and statutory reporting.

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal – in English

Who you are

  • A detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and analytical skills.

  • A team player with a can-do attitude and hands-on mentality.

  • A reliable and trustworthy individual who values integrity and work ethic.

  • Someone eager to learn, improve and contribute to a growing and dynamic team.
