Job description

What we do

No matter if you’re the biggest sports fanatic, have a ‘minor’ shoe addiction, or simply own one trusted pair of sneakers, you know that finding the “perfect” shoe can be surprisingly challenging. At SafeSize, we make that choice simple and precise. We help people in over 70 countries around the world find the perfect fitting shoes, every single time. Using advanced 3D foot scanning technology and the world’s largest database of 3D-scanned shoes, we enable better footwear choices. We also design and manufacture customized footwear products that enhance comfort, boost performance and promote sustainability.

Our mission is to empower people to do what they love – whether it’s running a marathon, dancing all night or simply going for a stroll in the park – with maximum comfort and confidence.  As an employer, we live by the same philosophy. We foster a supportive, hands-on environment where people can learn, grow, and take ownership, while contributing to meaningful, technology-driven innovation.

The fit we hope to find

At SafeSize, we combine innovative technology and physical products to transform the footwear retail experience globally.

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of our international logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management and supply chain planning across both our technology systems and physical products.

You will be responsible for ensuring our equipment and products are available when needed, shipped efficiently to customers and partners around the world, and properly managed throughout their lifecycle.

A key priority will be to set up and manage our warehouse operations while establishing clear processes for inventory, shipping, returns and order fulfilment.

This is a practical, hands-on role at a growing international business. You will work closely with different teams, manage external partners and suppliers, and help build efficient, scalable operations as our business evolves.

The role will also offer the opportunity to take on additional operational responsibilities as we expand our product portfolio and capabilities.

What you'll do

Warehouse Setup & Operations

  • Facility setup & management: Lead the setup and day-to-day management of our warehouse operations including collaboration with warehouse partners, suppliers and service providers to ensure quality, efficiency and cost control;

  • Processes & SOPs: Establish and organise warehouse processes and SOPs, covering receiving, storage, inventory management and stock movements, order fulfilment (picking, packing and dispatch) and quality control;

  • Inventory Control & Discrepancy Reduction: Ensure accurate stock records and proper tracking of technology systems, equipment, spare parts and physical products;

  • Reverse Logistics: Coordinate returns, repairs, warranty cases and equipment refurbishment in collaboration with our Technical Support and Hardware teams.

End-to-End Freight, Trade Compliance & Flow Optimization

  • Global Freight Management: Own international freight forwarding (air, ocean, road), negotiating competitive carrier rates, optimizing transit times, and ensuring consistent service level agreements (SLAs);

  • Customs & Regulatory Compliance: Supervise end-to-end import/export documentation, customs clearance, Harmonized System (HS) code classifications, and Incoterms compliance across global jurisdictions;

  • Supply Chain Continuity: Monitor critical supply path risks, building contingency routes and lead-time buffers to guarantee reliable hardware deliveries to enterprise retail partners.

Systems Integration, KPIs & Cross-Functional Alignment

  • ERP Optimization: Champion inventory and logistics workflows within our ERP (e.g., Odoo), eliminating manual touchpoints and automating inventory movements from supplier intake to final client delivery;

  • Data-Driven Performance: Establish, monitor, and report operational KPIs (Inventory Accuracy Rate, Order Fulfillment Cycle Time, Cost per Unit Shipped, Inbound/Outbound Dock-to-Stock Times);

  • Operational Leadership: Collaborate closely with Operations, Hardware Engineering, Finance, and Account Management to align procurement schedules and inventory availability with global rollout targets.

Job requirements

What you bring

  • Experience: 7+ years working in logistics, warehouse operations, and international shipping, ideally at a hardware, electronics, or hardware/software B2B environment;

  • Systems and data skills: Comfortable using ERP systems (Odoo experience is a big plus), and strong with spreadsheets and working with data;

  • Customs and trade knowledge: Solid understanding of international customs processes, Incoterms, shipping paperwork for cross-border freight, and tariff rules;

  • Managing logistics partners: Able to negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, couriers, and 3PL providers, track how well they perform, and hold them to their commitments;

  • Language and travel: Fluent in written and spoken English, and able to travel internationally when needed.

Who you are

  • Analytical, data-driven and confident using KPIs and performance metrics to guide decisions;

  • A structured, execution-oriented professional who can shift effortlessly between high-level negotiation and deep-dive operational troubleshooting;

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of coordinating smoothly with external vendors and cross-functional internal peers;

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, international, and evolving environments.
